Worst experience and treatment I have ever witnessed at a hospital ER! My wife went to the emergency department early in the morning in extreme pain on the left side of her neck, her version of extreme pain would be unbearable to most people as she has ruptured discs in her neck and degenerative disc disease. A Doctor never even looked at her that morning, a nurse practitioner gave her a shot and some cream and sent her on her way. I got home in the afternoon to her crying in the chair. Took her against my better judgement back to Meadowview ER for round two, we told them the pain level was at a 10 and still no Doctor examined her, she got a very sloppy exam from a nurse practitioner and were told "Sorry theres nothing we can do, go home" also the Doctor listed for her that we never saw was the same DR. Sullivan that is reviewed in other reviews on here, all bad! I would not take my dog to this sorry excuse for an ER. We went to Adams County Regional Medical Center and were met by a real, thorough, caring and professional Doctor and Nurse and were well taken care of, diagnosis and treatment were correct and wife has gotten relief and is showing marked improvement! Don't waste your time with Meadowview, a vet's office could do more!
I sat from 1030 till 1 they came in took blood and I waited and waited when asked how much longer cause I had to be out by at least 2 they said id be awhile. I went in for left side pain and had tested positive for being pregnant and I've had a tubal. They acted as if they don't care if it's a tubal pregnancy or not they have other things to do in very disappointed
My husband broke his thumb and about cut it off. It was bleeding bad and he laid it on the bed beside him and the male nurse said put this gauze on it your bleeding all over the bed. He was more concerned about the bed getting dirty than my husband. Both nurses had horrible bedside manners. I am a medical director of 3 animal hospitals and we treat the animals better than that. If these nurses worked in my clinics they would have a write up coming.
Left my friend crying for several hours passing a massive kidney stone and would give him abolutely nothing for pain. Would rather let somebody suffer in agonizing pain then God forbid give them a narcotic painkiller.
Dislocated my shoulder went to er get it fix Dr never even came in to see me then when ask him what was going on he got very rude.they never know what there doing in there the Dr's never care for there patience
